New Kentucky Derby Event Opportunity for High-End and Creative Brands Interested in Celebrity Exposure
Louisville, KY, March 19, 2010 — Style Icon Image Development, LLC, a Louisville, Kentucky-based image development and celebrity styling company, is creating a high-exposure opportunity for luxury product developers, designers and retailers during the 2010 Kentucky Derby festivities April 30-May 1.
Last year’s Kentucky Derby attracted a diverse list of famous sports, entertainment and royalty celebrities from around the world. This year, the national and international media exposure for the Derby is expected to increase, creating an outstanding publicity opportunity for products seen with celebrity guests.
Style Icon has created an exclusive, private opportunity to get ground-floor exposure for product through a variety of sponsorships, gifting suite options and celebrity gift bag inclusions. Exclusive Derby 2010 gifting tables and gift bags will be given to selected top-tier celebrities during the private Style Icon Gifting Suite celebrations at the historic Galt House – the host hotel and conference center of the 2010 Kentucky Derby.
Media Exposure and Professional Photography
Professional photographers will be on hand to capture publicity photos of celebrities with your brand and products. As a sponsor of the Style Icon Luxury Gifting Suite, we project that your photos will be seen by over 2 million people and generate ~$250,000 – $500,000 in PR for your brand. Photos of celebrities with your company or product logo on our press wall will be sent around the world to thousands of media outlets.
Our public relations team will seek opportunities to coordinate with pre-scheduled media and press to get your company or product additional online, TV or print exposure where possible. Style Icon will also send out sample gift bags to prospective media outlets and editors. Within 30 days we will send you a media recap of press and public relations that your product and the Gifting Suite received during the event.
Deadline for Participation
Space is limited. All gifting items must be approved. Reserve your position early for best product positioning and pre-event public relations exposure. The deadline for presenting and platinum sponsorships is April 2, 2010. The deadline for gifting sponsors is April 7, 2010.
Charity Support
This year’s Style Icon Gifting Suite event will benefit several charities. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the charity and we are encouraging each celebrity to sign designated merchandise to be auctioned at the affiliate’s annual charity gala/fundraiser.
